This tour provides maximum free time at the Grand Canyon for exploration. On day one, travel through the Sonoran desert through the Navajo Nation to visit a local trading post with a great selection of arts and souvenirs. Upon arrival at Grand Canyon National Park, tour the East Rim drive for stops at dramatic viewpoints. Then enjoy time in the Grand Canyon Village area for views or a nature walk before checking into your local accommodations. You will then stay overnight at the Grand Canyon Village. On day two, This morning, relax at your hotel, then there is plenty of time to explore, take a nature walk, shop or simply enjoy the view. At approximately 3:15, meet your guide to depart the Grand Canyon and return to Phoenix area, returning at approximately 8:00-9:00pm.

Day 1 From Phoenix area, travel north and tour Grand Canyon National Park via South Rim
Stop At: Arizona Tour & Travel - Day Tours
On day one, depart Phoenix area, and begin your scenic drive through the Sonoran Desert on your way to Grand Canyon.
Stop At: Cameron Trading Post
Take time to shop for unique native-crafted souvenirs at the Navajo Tribal Nation. There is also time for you to pick up lunch (lunch not included).

Stop At: Grand Canyon National Park
Spend the afternoon travelling across Grand Canyon National Park, stopping at magnificent vistas and gorgeous landmarks across the south rim.

Stop At: Grand Canyon Village
At the end of your tour day, you will stop at Grand Canyon Village and check in to your hotel, where you will be free to enjoy the rest of the evening and spend the night at your hotel.
