Enjoyed the drive to Kutna Hora and the tours. Our guide (I don't recall her name) was very informative and friendly. Sadly photos are no longer allowed in the bone church and that was disappointing, but certainly not the fault of the tour company.
This tour was an unexpected surprise! Our tour guide was warm and welcoming. Her knowledge of of the area and the churches was awesome! If you take this tour you must have the hot chocolate when you stop for your break. It’s like no other got chocolate we’ve ever had!
The tour kicks of near Revolution Square in Prague and heads to the town of Kutna Hora. The Ossuary was a bit weird and frankly not really a 'must-see'. The town was beautiful with a breathtaking cathedral. The guide gave a lot of interesting information about the area and the country. She had a very dry sense of humor which made it even funnier. We were back in Prague around 3pm.
Nice trip to do to see other parts of the country.
this was a fun 3/4 day trip. Pick up location was easy to find. Our tour guide was very knowledgeable and informative. The bone church was amazing. St Barbara Church was so very lovely. after those stops we had a very lovely walking tour of Kunta Hora. I would definitely recommend this trip for a short day trip.
I read a lot about the church/museum before I went but it was still a very strange and a bit on the eerie side. I understand the custom and the need for re-using consecrated land but these were real people at one time and I couldn't help but feel it was a bit "disrespectful." But, out guide was really very used to the various "reactions" and was able to put them all in perspective. We also went to a couple of other places in the town and our guide really knew the history and the details and kept it all very interesting. A long but very interesting day.
