The Stavros Niarchos Foundation Cultural Center (Greek: Κέντρο Πολιτισμού Ίδρυμα Σταύρος Νιάρχος) is a complex in the bay of Faliro in Athens which includes new facilities for the National Library of Greece (NLG) and the Greek National Opera (GNO), as well as the 210,000 m² Stavros Niarchos Park. The Center was designed by architect Renzo Piano and its construction was funded by the Stavros Niarchos Foundation. The €566 million project was completed in 2016, and was donated to the Greek state in 2017

If one had to set aside one specific part of Piraeus as being special, then without a doubt, he would have to pick Kastella hill or Mikrolimano. It is the most picturesque harbor in Piraeus with an intense character. Traditional fish taverns among with luxury restaurants are located right down the small harbor offering a chance for a romantic dinner by the sea. The small bars that overlooking the harbor are crowded, specially during the summer months, setting the night - rythm of the place.
